At the rate gasoline is going up in price, you’d better build a big barn, so you’ll have some place to park yer horses!
Oh, you’ll see lots of little motor scooters, Mopeds, and other small cars. Only the well-to do will be able to afford cars and driving.
Invent some way to get more mileage from gasoline, or some way to use potatoe skins to run yer cars! We’ll have lots of tater skins in a few years–thats all we’ll be able to afford to eat! You could run yer car on natural gas, if you can change the carburetor-a friend did that. But, he has to carry three tanks in the trunk!
Ride a bicycle! Get exercise while ya do–ya won’t have to go to the “Y” and pay them to get yer exercise!
And, for exercise, at the local mall, park way at the back of the lot and walk in! No fighting for close parking!
Flying cars?? No, i don’t think so. A collision way up there would be something to avoid at all costs!
And, would you really feel safe, driving in a tunnel as long as the distance from New York to London, under water–many miles from an opening to the air!?!?
Not me–it was scary enough going to England on a troop ship, on top of the water!
