You should check with a college of your choice and talk with someone who can tell you about the choices available. Most colleges with Mechanical Engineering programs have Green Energy specialties and also some will have Environmental Engineering majors. If you are into power transmission type of engineering there are good EE majors for that stuff but check with the college as they may specialize in computer science with their EE majors.
First I appreciate you for your intrest in science. you can major in Chemical engineering.
