Green Happens Now

Also, I am not thinking of individuals, corporations or nations with this question, but of the planet as a whole.

It’s not our energy use that causes AGW but the greenhouse gasses that result from the types of energy we are using. So if we are to solve the problem we need to phase out the polluting types of energy in favour of others.

I realise that many of these are less efficient, more expensive, or have other environmental conseques, but wouldn’t it be better to live with these rather than with an over-warm planet?

Solar, wind, tidal, geothermal, nuclear, even wood burning is carbon neutral so long as you replant!

From a global warming perspective, there would be no need to limit these as they wouldn’t contribute to AGW. We could have as much as we like!

Please excuse my typing, it should be “environmental consequences” in the middle paragraph!
